Attorney Profiles

Karen L. Green is a magna cum laude graduate of Villanova University School of Law, where she served on the staff of the Villanova Law Review.  Ms. Green is also a member of the Order of the Coif, a national legal honors society.  Ms. Green graduated from the University of Maryland cum laude and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, a national honors society. 

Upon graduating from Villanova, Ms. Green served as a law clerk to the Honorable Murray C. Goldman of the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas.  Upon completion of her clerkship, she joined the litigation department of Blank Rome Comisky & McCauley where she practiced in the areas of commercial litigation and premises liability defense.  In 1999, Ms. Green joined Mr. McDonnell at Silverman Frimmer Bernheim & McDonnell and then joined McDonnell & Associates upon its opening. 

Ms. Green is now a partner and oversees the employment litigation group.  Ms. Green has tried several cases to verdict and has extensive experience litigating employment cases for major clients.  She appears frequently in front of the agencies charged with investigating allegations of discrimination, including the EEOC, PHRC, and NJDCR.  Her areas of expertise include complex commercial litigation, employment litigation, class action defense, complex motion practice, and state and federal appellate work.  Ms. Green has appeared before trial and appellate courts.  Ms. Green is licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. 

Ms. Green is a member of the National Association of Women Lawyers and Philadelphia Bar Association and its Women in the Profession Committee.  Ms. Green is also a member of the Attorneys' Council for Hadassah of Greater Philadelphia.  Ms. Green serves on her synagogue's Executive Committee and Board of Trustees and chairs a committee.  She recently served as Treasurer for a local school board campaign.
