Adam is a seasoned litigator who has successfully represented businesses involved in insurance coverage disputes, complex litigation, and personal injury defense. He has personal experience and expertise in claims involving catastrophic injury, commercial leases, construction disputes, insurance broker liability, security alarm and guard liability, and commercial transportation matters. Adam handles cases from inception to resolution by way of verdict, arbitration, judicial determination and settlement.

Adam graduated from Washington University in St. Louis and Villanova University School of Law. Prior to joining the firm, Adam was a partner at Blank Rome, LLP where he handled commercial litigation and personal injury defense matters. More recently, Adam has defended insurance companies in subrogation and coverage matters and litigated cases involving general business disputes at regional litigation firms. He is licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey state courts and admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Adam serves his community through his elected position on the Abington Township Board of School Directors. He was also a member of the SEPTA Citizens Advisory Board and the Cheltenham Township Economic Development Task Force.

Successfully represented a national retailer for property damage and business interruption following a roof collapse over a 1.2 million square foot regional distribution center. Suit was instituted against the general contractor and the steel fabricator. Through discovery and the retention of preeminent experts, the defense was able to establish that the steel fabricator failed to properly and adequately weld the roof joists and other structural components. The defense further demonstrated that these defects were the result of an incentive program that rewarded production efficiency at the expense of quality. The litigation was settled on terms very favorable to the client.

Successfully represented a retailer to recover losses arising from a multi-year seven-figure embezzlement scheme. Adam worked with the client’s broker, financial professionals and insurance carrier representatives to maximize the insurance recovery and minimize the business loss caused by the fraud. He also worked with law enforcement officials to coordinate the insurance claim with the criminal investigation and prosecution.

Obtained a favorable jury verdict for a transportation client whose tractor-trailer rear-ended a passenger vehicle. One of the occupants of the passenger vehicle, a woman in her 60’s, sustained a cerebral hemorrhage as a result of the accident and claimed permanent neurological deficits. As a result of Adam’s intensive investigation and preparation of medical experts, the jury rendered a nominal award well below Plaintiff’s pretrial demand.

Successfully defended a fire detection equipment manufacturer in a high profile lawsuit arising from a fire that destroyed the primate collection at a major urban zoo. Adam focused the defense on causation; specifically, the zoo’s failure to maintain multiple systems designed to detect fire. As a result of the information uncovered by Adam in discovery, and proof that the animals’ death from smoke inhalation was unrelated to his client’s fire detection equipment, the case settled on very favorable terms.
