Secured the dismissal of all claims brought against a developer company client involving the electrocution of two landscaping contractors, which had resulted in catastrophic injuries.

Obtained summary judgment in the representation of a New Jersey shore beach community in a Wrongful Death/Survival Act claim stemming from a drowning that occurred after lifeguards had left for the day. The dismissal on summary judgment was upheld by the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Second chaired a bench trial in which a defense verdict for company and individual clients was secured against claims for breach of contract, theft of trade secrets, and violation of employment agreement.

Successfully resolved Wrongful Death/Survival Act lawsuit alleging restaurant’s liability after a patron was struck and killed as she crossed the street to get to the restaurant. Through aggressive discovery, Plaintiff’s claims were depleted to a fraction of the client’s original exposure allowing for favorable resolution at mediation.

Obtained summary judgment in a Conscientious Employee Protection Act (CEPA)/New Jersey Civil Rights Act (NJCRA) case. Successfully argued that Plaintiff failed to establish the CEPA claim as she was not a “whistle blower” pursuant to the Act. Moreover, Plaintiff’s NJCRA claim was dismissed because there was no provision for procedural due process.
