Christopher has experience handling transactional and litigated matters for financial institutions and other corporate clients. Christopher focuses his legal practice in the areas of premises liability, products liability, and commercial litigation for one of the nation’s largest retailers. Christopher practices in Pennsylvania in both state and federal court. Christopher manages his own caseload and handles all aspects of his files including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and arbitrations.

Prior to joining McDonnell & Associates, Christopher served as judicial law clerk for the Honorable Judge Jessica E. Brewbaker. As a judicial law clerk, Christopher researched various areas of civil law and drafted memoranda of law and judicial opinions. Following his judicial clerkship, Christopher worked as a general practice attorney at a mid-size litigation firm in Central Pennsylvania handling matters involving commercial litigation, family law, business law, and real estate law.

Christopher is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, The Dickinson School of Law where he participated in the trial team and moot court board. Christopher also served as the Vice President of the Student Bar Association and President of the Black Law Student Association. Christopher earned his bachelor’s degree from The Pennsylvania State University where he majored Advertising and Public Relations.

In his free time, Christopher enjoys supporting Penn State sports and spending time with family and friends.


Christopher work on behalf of a large financial institution where his firm obtained a judgment exceeding $5,000,000 after a commercial borrower defaulted on a loan. Christopher drafted numerous briefs in support of his client’s position.

Christopher has represented parents and grandparents in custody matters successfully reuniting broken families. Many of these matters involved complex, multi day custody trials.

Christopher assisted the preparation of numerous judicial opinions as a judicial law clerk in the Cumberland County Court of Common Pleas.


Lectures

Christopher served as the Student Bar Association Secretary and Vice President, and as President of the Penn State Black Law Student Association where he routinely led meetings, served his fellow students and oversaw the preparation of meeting minutes and other organizational documents.
