Brandon focuses his legal practice in the areas of commercial transportation, commercial litigation, employment litigation, premises liability, and products liability for individuals and corporate clients, including one of the nation’s largest retailers. Brandon handles cases in Pennsylvania and New Jersey in both state and federal court. Brandon manages his own caseload and handles all aspects of his cases including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, arbitrations, mediations, and trial work.

Prior to joining McDonnell & Associates, Brandon worked at a mid-sized plaintiff personal injury firm specializing in motor vehicle accidents, underinsured motorist claims, product liability claims, and premises cases across Pennsylvania and obtained positive outcomes for his clients. Brandon also represented corporations in various matters such as employment and contract disputes, zoning appeals, and real estate dealings, including assisting a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) in competing fairly for federally funded transportation-related projects.

Brandon received his law degree from Widener University School of Law in Delaware in 2012 as an evening division student while working for several large Philadelphia law firms as a legal research assistant during the day. He received his Master of Science (M.S.) in Forensic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2009. Brandon’s education in both law and medicine assists him in expertly analyzing medical records and understanding injuries that are common in personal injury claims.

Brandon is the author and editor of numerous books for the George T. Bisel Publishing Company, including “Pennsylvania Damages,” “Pennsylvania Vehicle Code Annotated,” and “Pennsylvania Juvenile Delinquency and Dependency.” He has been named a Pennsylvania Rising Star from 2021 onward. The “Super Lawyers-Rising Star^®”, list recognizes no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in each state.

Brandon currently lives in Malvern with his wife Rachel and their son Max.

Mr. Zanan recently represented a severely injured individual against his automobile insurance company for underinsured motorist benefits where the insurance company believed he had been fully compensated from the minimal third-party insurance payout. Mr. Zanan took the case to binding arbitration where the award was well in excess of the client’s $200,000 policy.

Mr. Zanan recently mediated the claims of three severely injured individuals in a deck collapse case against a homeowner who rented out their home in the Poconos with a poorly installed deck. The overall settlement was well over $1 million dollars.

Mr. Zanan obtained very favorable resolutions for hundreds of injured clients for various types of claims including motor vehicle accidents, premises claims, product liability claims, and catastrophic injuries. He has also represented numerous employers and employees in unemployment compensation claims and other employment disputes.
